VIA Pro
Enable photographic surveying and manage an iOS subscription.
VIA Pro enables acquiring survey photographs from Camera and Library, including template thumbnails. Creating surveys, using template fields and the other non-photographic workflows do not require Pro. Existing photographs remain accessible and exportable when Pro is inactive.
Subscribe on iPhone
- Open Settings → VIA Pro, or use Photography is a VIA Pro feature. View VIA Pro from a recording form.
- Read the current monthly price shown by Apple and tap Subscribe.
- Complete Apple’s purchase process. Wait for verification before using Camera or Library.
- Check for VIA Pro is active.
The subscription renews automatically until cancelled. Use the price displayed in your store region; the guide does not prescribe a fixed price. Subscription purchase and management are currently implemented for iOS.
Restore, refresh or manage access
- Restore Purchases asks Apple to recover an existing entitlement, useful after reinstalling or changing device. Use the Apple account associated with the purchase.
- Refresh subscription checks the product and entitlement again after an interrupted or delayed response.
- Manage Subscription opens Apple’s subscription management. Use it to review renewal or cancel future renewal.
If access is unavailable
Check the connection and Apple purchase status, then refresh or restore before attempting another purchase. A pending approval is not active access. If Apple cannot be contacted, VIA retains the last verified access for the current running session; do not assume offline access after a fresh launch.
Disabled camera/library controls can mean Pro is not active or image acquisition is busy. After entitlement is active, camera permission is still required. Removing the app does not cancel an Apple subscription.
